Join the University of Calgary, the Students’ Union and the Graduate Student Association as we host candidates in the upcoming federal election to discuss issues important to students, staff, and the community! All candidates in Calgary-Confederation have been invited to forum on October 2, 2019. In the MacEwan Hall Ballroom, you can meet the candidates and their supporters starting at 4:00 p.m. The debate will begin just after 5:00 p.m. and will conclude with closing statements at 6:00 p.m.

On October 3rd, join us at Alberta Wilderness Association for a Calgary Confederation all-candidates forum. This forum is part of the 100 Debates on the Environment project, a non-partisan, nationally coordinated event bringing together voters to hear candidates’ best policy ideas for the environment. 100 debates are being held in 100 ridings across Canada on the same evening, all addressing the same four questions on climate change, wilderness conservation, water, and pollution.
